Intern Financial Controlling in Grifols Biopharma Division

 

The intern will perform a six to eight week rotation through different corporate finance departments within Grifols Biopharma division including working with the US commercial controlling team, the manufacturing controlling team, and the Research & Development controlling team.   The intern will learn and participate in commercial pricing decisions, financial reporting, financial forecasting, and miscellaneous ROI and business development analysis.  

A basic understanding of US GAAP financial statements, general accounting practices/procedures, financial analysis, and general business processes is needed.  Strong software skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required.  The intern should be a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with the ability to prioritize and multi-task activities in a deadline-driven environment.   Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical and planning skills are essential to effectively work with financial and non-financial personnel at all levels.

Experience Required: 
Directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place of the stated requirements. Must be enrolled in college and a preference (although not required) will be for candidates pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
