Internship Overview– How You’ll Contribute:
Are you a current Accounting Student looking to learn and grow your Accounting knowledge today? We have an excellent opportunity to begin an Accounting Internship with the H+H Group! In this position you will work directly with the CFO/VP of Accounting and other personnel as assigned to facilitate Accounting responsibilities. You will be involved in numerous aspects of the day-to-day activities for the ultimate Accounting experience. There are opportunities available for our Interns after graduation to join our Accounting Team! Pay $17 per hour!
- Assist with gathering back-up support and preparing of Journal Entries.
- Assist with month end close reports.
- Perform various account reconciliations.
- Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned.
- Filing & Scanning.
- Answer phone calls.
NOTE: There may be the opportunity for permanent placement.
Qualifications – What You Need to be Successful:
- College Student enrolled in Accounting courses with credit hours equaling a Junior, or Senior.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrate a passion for Accounting.
- Self-starter with demonstrated leadership experience; high initiative and drive.
- Research and analytic skills; capacity to grasp technical details.
- Strong organization, time management, and project management capabilities.
- Problem resolution skills; able to think through problems resulting in proper course of action.
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM or 8:00AM-4:30PM depending on lunch. Flexible with school schedules.
