Job Summary:

Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC, IGT (Industrial Gas Turbine) Division, a world-class supplier of power generation services, parts, and repairs, is seeking an experienced multi-axis CNC Creep Feed Grinder Programmer/Operator to continue their career in advanced manufacturing technology. 

The incumbent will have the opportunity to learn how to inspect machined parts, read blueprints, document, and report findings. Learn, set up, and, on a limited basis, operate heavy equipment/machinery. 

Requirements

Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

•Read blueprints or engineering specifications to obtain product information, such as specified material, surface finish, and dimensions.

•Capable of performing all inspection procedures necessary to assure the accuracy and quality of manufacturing for all of the TPL product lines.

•Calculate and measure dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of math and instruments such as micrometers, verniers, and gauges.

•Maintain all records and reports

•Issue and fill out inspection reports

•Issue and fill out NCRs

•Perform in-process inspections

•Perform layout inspections

•Perform Final inspections

•Must be able to adhere to established GMP, Safety, and housekeeping procedures. 

•Support other areas of the shop as needed and perform other tasks and related duties assigned by management.

Position Requirements:

•Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent

•Ability to organize work assignments to ensure efficient operations within the area.

•Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner to achieve the intended objective.

•Ability to read and use related quality control tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, indicators, and tape measures.

•Good organizational skills

•Understanding of lean and 6S safety in a manufacturing environment

•Good computer skills
