Role Overview

We’re looking for a UX Design Intern (Part Time) who is curious, thoughtful, and excited to design experiences that impact millions of employees worldwide. You’ll work closely with product designers, researchers, and engineers to create intuitive, human-centered solutions across our recognition platform.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll contribute to real product work, with mentorship and guidance from experienced designers.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the design of end-to-end user experiences across web and mobile products

  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools like Figma

  • Participate in user research activities such as usability testing, interviews, and synthesis

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers and engineers

  • Contribute to and learn from an established design system

  • Iterate on designs based on feedback, data, and usability findings

  • Present your work and design rationale to teammates and stakeholders with guidance from mentors

Our Expectations

  • Currently pursuing a degree in UX Design, Graphic Design, Psychology, or a related field

  • A portfolio demonstrating your design thinking process (not just final visuals)

  • Familiarity with UX fundamentals: user flows, wire-framing, prototyping, and usability principles

  • Experience with the Figma design tool

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • A willingness to learn, ask questions, and take feedback constructively

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to user research methods and usability testing

  • Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles

  • Experience working on real-world or team-based projects

  • Basic familiarity with front-end concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus, but not required

What You’ll Gain

  • Real-world experience working on a large-scale SaaS platform

  • Mentorship from experienced UX designers and researchers

  • Exposure to enterprise product design and design systems

  • Opportunities to present your work and build your portfolio

  • A deeper understanding of designing for employee experience and workplace culture
