Join Maxis as a Business Operations (Audit Governance & Compliance) Intern, where you will gain hands-on experience in supporting audit governance and compliance initiatives within a dynamic business environment. This role offers exposure to audit tracking, monitoring frameworks, and cross-functional coordination, providing valuable insights into how governance and compliance strengthen operational integrity and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Audit Governance Support
Assist in supporting audit activities within the ECSO scope.
Contribute to ensuring audit processes are properly tracked and aligned with governance standards.

2. Audit Tracking & Monitoring
Track audit findings, action plans, and closure status across various functions.
Support continuous monitoring and validation of audit outcome implementation.

3. Compliance & Documentation Management
Maintain audit documentation and ensure readiness for compliance reviews.
Ensure records are accurate, structured, and aligned with internal requirements.

4. Reporting & Analysis
Prepare reports and provide visibility on audit progress, gaps, and risks.
Assist in analysing audit data to support informed decision-making.

5. Stakeholder Coordination
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely closure of audit findings.
Support coordination efforts to drive accountability and follow-through on action plans.

Value-Added Project

The intern will work on an Audit Governance Enhancement Project, focusing on improving the tracking and monitoring of audit findings and compliance requirements. This includes streamlining reporting processes, identifying gaps in audit closure timelines, and recommending improvements to strengthen governance effectiveness and operational transparency.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of audit, governance, or compliance frameworks
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good analytical and reporting capabilities
  • Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Proactive, responsible, and eager to learn in a structured environment
