About the Role

About the Role:

For our Ferrero HQ in Luxembourg, we're searching for an enthusiastic intern to join our Finance department – Source-To-Pay Controlling team for a 6-month internship starting in September.

Main Responsibilities:

In this role, you will contribute to the analysis of differences between actual and budgeted spend across various indirect cost categories. You will also support data checks to ensure consistency and assist in maintaining reporting tools, including dashboards used for planning and tracking activities.

You will support the Indirect Controlling team in its interactions with Procurement by providing analysis and follow-up on spend. Thanks to your attention to detail and analytical mindset, you will help improve visibility on financial commitments and support the monitoring of planned expenses.

Thanks to your ability to collaborate with different stakeholders (Procurement, IT, and corporate functions), you will contribute to ensuring alignment between planned activities and budget guidelines, while also supporting the follow-up of projects involving external partners.

About You:

You will bring your Degree in Finance, Business or Economics, demonstrating a strong educational background in relevant fields.

You have strong interpersonal, team-working, and leadership skills. You demonstrate the ability to deliver while respecting deadlines. With proactive communication abilities, you will effectively engage with team members and stakeholders.

Fluency in English is essential for effective communication within the team and across departments.

Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is necessary for handling data and generating reports. You have a problem-solving approach and able to work with numbers confidently. 

You possess a high level of financial, accounting, and controlling knowledge, as well as a solid understanding of commercial economics. 

You are confident using technical tools in your daily work. You have an advanced level in Excel, including the use of formulas, Pivot Tables, and data visualization to build and manage dashboards. Thanks to your interest in improving efficiency, you are also able to work with VBA and macros.

To be eligible for the internship, you must be enrolled in an educational institution, or the internship must start and end within 12 months after your last school enrolment period. In addition, you must already hold EU citizenship or a valid work permit for Luxembourg which is valid at least until the end of February 2027.
