About the Role

About the Role:

For our Ferrero Group HQ in Luxembourg, we are looking for an enthusiastic intern to join our Finance department - Better For You Category Controlling team for a 6-month internship starting in September.

Main Responsibilities:

In this role, you will support the Better For You (BFY) Category in monitoring and analyzing the financial performance of the business.

You will gain experience in key financial controlling activities, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes, as well as the preparation and analysis of new business cases. You will also contribute to monthly reporting and variance analysis, helping to explain differences between actual results and forecasts.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain, to collect and analyze data. Your work will support informed decision-making and contribute to the growth of the BFY category.

About You:

You will bring your Degree in Finance, Financial Controlling,  Accounting demonstrating a strong educational background in relevant fields. You have a good understanding of accounting principles, including key elements of the Profit and Loss statement and Balance Sheet. Thanks to your knowledge of debit and credit entries, you are able to follow and support financial processes with accuracy and consistency. 

You have strong interpersonal, team-working, and leadership skills. You demonstrate the ability to deliver while respecting deadlines. With proactive communication abilities, you will effectively engage with team members and stakeholders.

Fluency in English is essential for effective communication within the team and across departments.

Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is necessary for handling data and generating reports. You have a problem-solving approach and able to work with numbers confidently. 

You possess a high level of financial, accounting, and controlling knowledge, as well as a solid understanding of commercial economics. You are comfortable working with data and enjoy solving problems. Thanks to your analytical thinking and attention to detail, you are able to handle complex information with accuracy and reliability.

To be eligible for the internship, you must be enrolled in an educational institution, or the internship must start and end within 12 months after your last school enrolment period. In addition, you must already hold EU citizenship or a valid work permit for Luxembourg which is valid at least until the end of February 2027.
