As a Combine Field Tests intern, you will support on planning, coordinating, executing, and reporting activities. This involves operating the machines, conducting root cause analysis, and ensuring that test units and equipment are updated to meet requirements and fulfil test requests.

 

Your Impact

  • Support in conducting field tests on combines and headers, ensuring high-quality incident reporting using AGCO tools.
  • Plan, monitor, and report field test activities in coordination with the engineering team.
  • Optimize field test equipment and procedures; analyse and document test results.
  • Collaborate with team members to plan and control activities effectively.
  • Contribute to root cause analysis for reported issues and ensure adherence to standards.

 

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Student enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Agricultural, Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience as technician or repairman with hands-on experience in agricultural machinery or strong agricultural background, such as having grown up on a farm.
  • Good knowledge of basic functions of agricultural machinery such as tractors, implements, and harvesters.
  • Proficient in material flow, operation, and interpreting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical schematics
  • Proficient in MS Office and English
  • Driving Licence
  • Availability to travel (50% or plus of working time), Europe.

 

This is a temporary opportunity starting in May, June, or July and lasting until November or December, during which you may also have the option to work on your thesis, if desired.
