Hatch is currently seeking a Process Engineering Intern/Student for its Essen office. 

 

Responsibilities: 

· Assist the process engineer in determining equipment design parameters; 

· Prepare and conduct pilot tests if the project context requires it; 

· Perform heat and mass balances; 

· Participate in the debottlenecking and optimization of existing processes and facilities; 

· Perform start-up and commissioning for new or existing plants if the project context requires it; 

· Perform static and dynamic modeling as required. 

 

Skills required: 

· Pursue a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in chemical or metallurgical engineering; 

· Versatility and autonomy; 

· Excellent team spirit and good communication; 

· Flexibility in an ever-changing environment; 

· Be bilingual orally and in writing (English/German); 

· Interest in consulting engineering.
