Your role

The EMEA Project Specialist Intern at EssilorLuxottica manages the full lifecycle of Shop-in-Shop installations for major brands like Ray-Ban, Prada, Miu Miu, Burberry and the other EssilorLuxottica House Brands and Licenses. This high-impact role bridges the gap between creative vision and technical execution by coordinating with the Milan HQ design team, supervising construction engineering, and managing vendor relationships. Beyond technical direction and regulatory compliance, the intern handles project scoping, budget oversight, and quality assurance to ensure premium results across the region.


Main responsibilities: 

  • EMEA Project Specialist: Oversee Shop-in-Shop installations for EssilorLuxottica brands (Ray-Ban, Oakley, Prada, etc.) across the EMEA region.
  • Design Coordination: Work closely with the Milan HQ Corporate Design Team to ensure brand alignment and technical integrity.
  • Technical Planning: Lead planning, detailed design, and construction engineering for new projects.
  • Vendor Management: manage local consultants and contractors sourced from the Luxottica procurement corporate vendor list.
  • Regulatory Liaison: Manage relationships with local Trade Marketing (if necessary malls, airports, and outlet centers) to ensure project compliance.
  • Scope & Scheduling: Define project goals, deliverables, and timelines while identifying necessary tasks and resources.
  • Financial Oversight: Estimate project costs based on historical benchmarks and manage assigned budgets and resource allocation.
  • Quality Assurance: Support QA processes through off-site factory inspections and on-site visits to ensure high-standard execution.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track progress, manage process changes, and report on outcomes, problems, and solutions to all stakeholders.

 

Main requirements:

  • Strong sense of commitment toward assigned targets and Technical Proficiency
  • Teamwork Orientation and Organizational capabilities
  • Construction Site Organizational capabilities and capacity of Reporting with clarity.
  • Problem Solving / Analysis
  • Educational Background: 
    • Engineering / Architectural Master Degree or equivalent
    • 0+ years of experience in Construction Project Management
  • Good ability to use programs: AutoCAD and Microsoft Office package, especially Power Point and Excel
