Join our Risk & Control Assurance team to gain hands-on experience in IT control assessment. You'll work alongside senior team members to evaluate the design adequacy and operational effectiveness of IT controls across the public healthcare sector.

 

The selected intern will participate in, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Study the IT control design of selected areas including technical controls for access management, data protection, and system security
  • Review IT control processes and procedures, examining how controls are implemented, monitored, and maintained within the organisation's IT infrastructure.
  • Participate in technical discussions with IT teams, auditors, and system owners to understand control architectures, implementation details, and operational effectiveness.
  • Assist in preparing assessment reports and presentation materials, including control assessments, observations, and improvement recommendations.
  • Support the annual Cybersecurity Week, a sector-wide event involving multiple Public Healthcare stakeholders, through event coordination and technical content development

 

About you:

  • Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field
  • Graduating in Dec 2026 or May 2027
  • Policy & Governance – Understanding of IT governance framework or risk management
  • A good understanding of current cybersecurity trends and controls
  • Good team player with strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
