Your Role

The Operations team plays a central and transversal role within CFM and emphasizes the values of integrity and excellence. We guarantee the reliability of the front-to-back chain and provide real-time support and control services that are essential to other teams. Our team is constantly looking for new ways to innovate and leverage technology to improve controls, reduce operational risk, and optimize the efficiency of our system.

 

Your missions will include:

  • Explore solutions to automate the retrieval of daily notes and market reports provided by brokers, and identify which information could be meaningfully integrated into our production workflow.
  • Monitor corporate action events that could generate operational risks.
  • Management of restriction lists from various prime brokers, various exchanges, etc.
  • Regulatory reporting: declaration of our short positions to the authorities
  • In collaboration with IT, identify and eliminate pain points present on our production screens to continuously improve user experience and system performance.

 

Participate in Team projects:

  • Automate the verification of stock eligibility criteria before their integration into strategies, using VBA/Python.
  • Improvement of the price variation process and the management screens for the universe of tradable stocks.
  • Optimization/automation of benchmark repo rate retrieval

Your Skills

  • You have initial experience (internship, gap year) in capital markets finance (Master's level or equivalent)
  • You have an aptitude for automation, data analysis and presentation, problem investigation and continuous process improvement
  • You master Python and/or Excel (VBA)
  • You are comfortable in both French and English
  • We are looking for motivated, curious, rigorous personalities with a strong team spirit.

 

Your plus?

  • Good knowledge of Bloomberg, SQL and Tableau
