What you'll do

Apart from the fact that SAP is a great employer for students (f/m/d), at the Bid Center Switzerland, you will join an international team of very motivated Bid & Proposal Managers. Low hierarchies and direct project responsibilities enable you to develop your own ideas and bring them to life. You will learn a lot about project management.

 

Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with diverse departments and learn about various roles within SAP.
  • Contribute to the preparation of high-quality proposals and sales materials.
  • Gain valuable experience in a dynamic and international environment.

 

Supporting the Bid & Proposal Managers will include the following tasks

  • Setting up digital collaboration rooms
  • Completing vendor questionnaires
  • Creating microsites for our customers to submit our RFP response documents
  • Managing the back-office tasks of the Bid Center like
  • Reporting
  • Updating SharePoint sites
  • Obtaining certificates and attestations
  • Hosting regular team meetings

 

What you bring

 

  • Student (f/m/d) at a vocational school or a university
  • Strong team player with high degree of self-reliance at work
  • Responsibility and ability to drive topics open-mindedly and focused on the end-result
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Knowledge in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, OneNote, OneDrive)
  • The targeted duration of employment is 2 years or longer and approximately 21 hours per week (50% employment)

The Bid & Proposal Management (BPM) supports sales representatives in preparing proposals and other sales activities. Bid & Proposal Managers lead cross-functional teams to ensure innovative, competitive, and compelling proposals are submitted on time while meeting quality criteria. As a member of the Swiss Bid and Proposal Team you will also be part of the wider MEE team within Germany, Austria, and Eastern European countries, as well as of the global SAP BPM Team.

We are looking for a motivated student who will support our organization with a mentality to deliver first class and convincing quality to our customers.
