Job Description

Are you looking to start your career in electrical hardware engineering within an industrial technology environment? As an Intern Electrical Hardware Engineer, you will support new product development activities for next-generation industrial servo motion control products. You will join a global, cross-functional engineering team and report to the Hardware Manager, Power & Motion, working fully onsite in Katowice, Poland, with a minimum availability of 20 hours per week. This internship is paid and will start in June or July.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support the electrical hardware product development process, including requirements definition, design, verification, and release to production.
  • Help with hardware design activities related to embedded systems, power electronics, and PCB design.
  • Collaborate with teams, including mechanical, embedded software, power electronics engineers, and project managers.
  • Participate in product verification and testing activities under the guidance of experienced hardware engineers.
  • Contribute to documentation and engineering deliverables throughout the development lifecycle.

The Essentials – You Will Have:

  • Active student status
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or be a final-year student in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week in a fully onsite internship in Katowice, Poland.
  • Basic knowledge of microprocessor/microcontroller-based embedded system design.
  • Basic understanding of power supplies, including AC/DC conversion, operational amplifiers, passive components, and PCB design.

The Preferred – You Might Also Have:

  • Experience in designing small electrical circuits through academic projects, diploma work, or personal projects.
  • Strong interest in electrical hardware design and industrial product development.
