What you will do

 

Within Volvo Group Purchasing, you will contribute to transforming our company, the transport industry, and society as a whole.

 

As a Case Leader, Supplier Crisis Management, you will play a key role in securing the Volvo Group supply chain in a demanding international environment.

 

In this role, you will:

 

Lead and resolve crisis situations impacting the supply chain
Coordinate cross-functional teams (Purchasing, Engineering, Operations, Brands) to ensure delivery continuity
Work closely with Tier 1 suppliers and, when necessary, engage Tier N suppliers
Facilitate daily crisis follow-up meetings with internal and external stakeholders
Provide regular reporting to senior and executive management
Identify and deploy fast, innovative solutions to secure flows
Contribute to continuous improvement of crisis management processes and tools

 

Your future team

 

You will join the Crisis Case Management team within the Supply Network Resiliency (SNR) organization in Europe.

This international, dynamic, performance-driven team works closely with multiple functions and regions. We share a culture built on trust, teamwork, operational excellence, and strong results orientation.

Must-have requirements:

 

Master’s degree (engineering school, business school, or equivalent)
First experience (including internship/apprenticeship) in purchasing, supply chain, quality, or supplier management
Ability to manage complex situations and work under pressure
Excellent communication and team coordination skills
Fluent in English (international environment)

 

Nice to have:

 

Experience in, or strong interest in, crisis management
Good understanding of industrial and supply chain challenges
Data analysis skills and ability to make quick decisions
Creative, solution-oriented mindset
Knowledge of the automotive or industrial sector
