| WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
The Manufacturing Engineering Intern supports day‑to‑day production operations, continuous improvement initiatives, and engineering projects that enhance safety, quality, and efficiency. This role is ideal for a student who enjoys hands-on problem‑solving, data analysis, and learning how products move from design to full‑scale manufacturing.
| WHAT YOU GET TO DO:
Assist manufacturing engineers with process development, optimization, and documentation
Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities for quality or process issues
Create or update standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and visual aids
Participate in time studies, workflow mapping, and ergonomic assessments
Help design or modify tooling, fixtures, and equipment under engineer supervision
Collaborate with cross functional teams including production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain
Contribute to continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
Assist with equipment validation, testing, and implementation of new processes
| WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:
Education
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree In Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and basic GD&T concepts
Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or similar) is a plus
Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn
