What's in it for you:

Trane in is seeking to cultivate talent entering the workforce by offering a Controls Engineering Intern This opportunity supports our Controls and Building Automation initiatives for Trane Commercial Systems.  Trane controls are installed in tens of thousands of buildings around the world, supported by local offices that provide emergency service, maintenance, and replacement parts for the life of your building.

As a Controls Engineering Intern, you will assist the Building Automation Systems team with hardware design activities. You will apply engineering principles and practices for assisting on assigned projects.

What you will do: 

  • Assist in design activities utilizing direct digital controls.

  • Assist in creating installation drawings, submittal drawings, and as-built drawings.

  • Assist in AutoCAD and Microsoft Visio work.

  • General office responsibilities.

 

What you will bring:

  • HS diploma.

  • Must be pursuing a degree in engineering or a related field of study.

  • Familiarity with concepts of HVAC Systems preferred.

  • Familiarity with computer programming and networking is preferred.

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office are required.

Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:

$20.88 - $30.16
