Job DetailsJob Location: Global Leadership Network - South Barrington, IL 60010Position Type: InternshipEducation Level: 2 Year DegreeSalary Range: $16.00 - $16.00 HourlyTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: DayJob Category: Nonprofit - Social ServicesMedia and Producer Assistant Intern Purpose: The Media and Producer Assistant intern will assist in areas of media/video production that includes editing & shooting videos; creating clips for various social media platforms and YouTube; helping with media management to NAS hard drive system and supporting GLS26 video event support.  This role will also support the GLN producing team in helping prepare elements needed for GLS, supporting producers during the GLS event week with needed collateral to help their team events. Global Leadership Network (GLN) is a nonprofit organization located in South Barrington, Illinois.  We exist to help churches build a leadership culture – so more and more people come to know Jesus Christ.  We do this by developing resources to help churches grow healthy leaders – because healthy leaders build healthy, thriving churches. Our flagship event is The Global Leadership Summit is attended by 60,000+ leaders in 400 sites (primarily churches) throughout the United States.  The Summit is translated into 50+ languages and held in over 800 sites in 110 countries reaching over 240,000 international leaders from September to April. Work Schedule: Although there may be some remote days to work from home, this role, along with the other Onsite Experience interns and staff will work in the office Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays for the month of June.  Regular office hours are 8:30am-5:00pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. We will most likely spend the whole of July & August timeframe in the office.   Job Status: Seasonal Internship (June 1 – August 14), Full-Time 40 hrs/week, Hourly Pay (Non-Exempt from Overtime) Position Team: Media Reports to: Director of Media Pay rate for this seasonal internship of 40 hours per week position is $16/hr. Benefits include paid time off in accordance with the Illinois PLAWA (Paid Leave for All Workers Act).  Time off may be subject to black-out dates during GLS peak season and subject to manager approval. Position Requirements: Applicant must be flexible and be ready to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and enjoy a variety of work – from media projects to producing event support. Ideally, we would like this position to start in June and work past the GLS25, ending August 15, 2025. This position does not offer relocation assistance or housing accommodations for the duration of the internship. Primary Responsibilities: Able to edit videos in Adobe premiere and other supporting Adobe products for GLN products, internal communication, Social Media and YouTube Video set-up and recording – including camera and lighting set-up, recording and editing video. Create pre-roll and post-roll video loops for GLS26. Assist producers in other events occurring during GLS week with providing supporting elements to their programs – graphics, videos, etc. Assist producers in programming and supporting elements of GLS26 – this will be at the direction of the Producer. Verify video formats and Ingest GLS26 videos into event playback system Complete other related duties as assigned. Actively participate in one-on-one meetings with manager, team meetings, all-staff meetings, and cross-functional meetings, as needed. QualificationsSkills and Qualifications: Ability to manage a variety of projects at any given time High attention to detail Ability to work with a variety of people Strong interpersonal/communication skills Education, Experience, and Other Requirements: Competency in Adobe editing software and other Adobe video products like AfterEffects, PhotoShop, etc. Able to set-up camera, lights and audio for video shoots Work in project managing platform (Monday’s) Fluency in Microsoft Office products 2-3 years of College Experience in Media and Producing/Production (preferred). A vital relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and an active participant of a local church that holds to a historic, orthodox understanding of biblical Christianity.
