Job Description

Test Engineer - Process, you will be responsible for leading Project improvement in the Burn In area, supporting execution and addressing manufacturing issues related to Test Process. You will be expected to continuously improve manufacturing processes through innovative solutions, collaborating across teams and disciplines. Your role is critical in driving Test Process improvements to enhance system robustness and scalability through systematic approaches and appropriate tools.

  • Collaborating with product managers, NPI engineers, Assembly engineers, Manufacturing supervisors, and QA to meticulously scope, plan, design, and implement new features while maintaining existing functionality.
  • Upholding and enforcing high engineering standards across the team.
  • Utilizing your expertise to enhance the technical proficiency of team members through rigorous coaching and mentoring.
  • Conducting thorough analyses to identify potential issues and ensure quality in manufacturing Testing Processes.
  • Meticulously documenting and monitoring testing outcomes, establishing comprehensive remediation steps for identified problems.
  • Demonstrating a detailed understanding of proper test case documentation and creating effective, focused testing plans
  • Engaging in cross-departmental collaboration for cost-saving initiatives.
  • Providing comprehensive specifications for proposed solutions, including accurate time and scope assessment.
  • Establishing clear, measurable goals for all aspects of product testing and developing robust execution strategies.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering such as Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong interest in semiconductor manufacturing, test engineering, and process improvement.
  • Basic understanding of electronic components, circuits, and engineering fundamentals is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and basic data analysis skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn and support troubleshooting activities on production/test equipment.
  • Knowledge in programming, scripting, or data analysis tools (Python, SQL, JMP, Minitab, etc.) is an added advantage but not mandatory.
