Organization & Team Overview
The Xfinity Brand Strategy team’s mission is to build strategy that positions Xfinity as the brand that connects people through consistent actions, identity and messaging across all channels, functions and touchpoints. Through brand strategy, identity, positioning, messaging, and planning, we ensure clear and consistent understanding of the role of the Xfinity brand in peoples’ lives among employees, partners and members. We are a key partner and input to all areas of the organization, uniquely positioned at the intersection of our product experience, business imperatives, and marketing communications.
Role Description
Join Xfinity’s Brand Strategy team as a Marketing co-op and learn the fundamentals of brand strategy, positioning, messaging, and visual identity, while applying them to cutting edge AI platforms, agentic tools, and experiences that guide consumers from discovery to decision.
What are some interesting problems the student will work on?
As a Brand Strategy co-op, you’ll help us work across our Planning, Voice, and Visual teams to:
- Help shape how the Xfnity brand shows up across all consumer touchpoints
- Define how AI tools can push our brand practice forward, by informing new ways of approaching business challenges across various platforms and tools
- Build frameworks and best practices that help Xfinity’s brand stay accurate, competitive, and differentiated as AI powered discovery continues to reshape consumer behavior
Where can this student make an impact?
This co‑op position will place you at the center of Brand Strategy work, supporting strategic initiatives, brand voice, and visual development, influencing how Xfinity evolves within AI‑powered discovery, and helping optimize workflows that support executive decision‑making.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Overall Brand Strategy Support: Assist with projects across the core Brand strategy functions of Planning, Voice, and Visuals
AI Platform Visibility & Optimization: Audit how Xfinity appears across leading AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity), and identify opportunities to improve brand representation and accuracy
LLM-Ready Content Development: Support the development of AI-optimized marketing content
Workfront Planning Platform Management: Ensure ongoing accuracy of Marketing and Product PORs in our planning platform
Competitive Intelligence: Analyze how competitors such as Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile are surfaced and recommended in AI-generated responses, and identify opportunities for Xfinity
Brand Strategy Intake: Partner with cross functional teams including Product and Acquisition & Retention to intake brand strategy requests, manage project workflows, and ensure timelines and deliverables stay on track
Cross-sharing of AI Best Practices: Support socialization of our AI strategy and learnings across Comcast Corporate, Comcast Business and Xfinity stakeholders
Other duties and responsibilities within the Brand team as assigned
Preferred Skills
Basic understanding of or interest in the marketing funnel, brand positioning, and consumer journeys
Strong interest in AI, technology systems, and marketing
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to work with structured information and evolving datasets
Familiarity with how marketing technologies (SEO, CMS, analytics, APIs) support brand growth
Curiosity about how platforms like ChatGPT influence consumer decision-making
Interest in telecommunications, connectivity, or consumer technology
Exposure to AI tools, prompt engineering, or automation workflows
Preferred Majors: Marketing, Business, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field
Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track.
Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting September 22, 2026, through March 26, 2027.
Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting

Base Pay: $7.25Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
