Organization & Team Overview

Comcast brings together the best in media and technology. We drive innovation to create the world's best entertainment and online experiences. As a Fortune 50 leader, we set the pace in a variety of innovative and fascinating businesses and create career opportunities across a wide range of locations and disciplines. We are at the forefront of change and move at an amazing pace, thanks to our remarkable people, who bring cutting-edge products and services to life for millions of customers every day. If you share our passion for teamwork, our vision to revolutionize industries and our goal to lead the future in media and technology, we invite you to join us and apply.

This role will be with Comcast’s Paid Media team focused on Large Language Model (LLM) strategy, including paid search and affiliate marketing support. It is an entrepreneurial, fast paced environment with high impact and significant exposure across the organization. As these technologies continue to develop by the day, this is a great opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, inquisitive, and eager to learn about AI and the growing role it will play in how we do business.

Role Description

This isn’t just a co-op. It’s your front-row seat to the AI revolution in marketing.

Imagine spending six months with one of America’s most iconic media and technology companies where your work directly shapes how artificial intelligence is measured, validated, and scaled across a paid media portfolio reaching tens of millions of consumers. This is that opportunity.

We are in the early stages of a seismic shift in digital marketing. Large language models (LLMs) are no longer a future concept. They are actively rewriting the rules of how brands connect with consumers. At Comcast NBCUniversal, we are building something new: a first-of-its-kind LLM-powered extension of our paid media practice that blends generative AI, real-time bidding intelligence, and natural language understanding to reach customers better than ever before.

If you’ve ever wanted to be in the room where the future of marketing is being built, this is that room.

What you’ll gain

  • Real-world experience working with LLMs and AI at Fortune 50 enterprise scope, with budgets and audiences few co-ops ever access.
  • Mentorship from senior performance media and data science professionals with deep expertise in AI-driven marketing.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge LLM tooling and the chance to contribute to frameworks that will inform multi-million-dollar investment decisions.
  • Networking opportunities across Digital Marketing, Data Science, and Technology teams.

Where can this student make an impact?

You’ll be on the frontlines, helping us to support dedicated LLM marketing strategy. Your impact will be felt in three (3) key areas:

  • Helping to drive paid search performance in the LLMs.
  • Supporting our Affiliate partnership program by auditing content that will be cited in LLMs to ensure accuracy, brand relevance, and to monitor brand sentiment.
  • Partnering with our Brand content teams to recommend new content to be cited in LLMs.

Your fingerprints will be on work that sets the standard for AI-driven marketing on an enterprise scale.
