Organization & Team Overview 

 

The Town Hall Team is a collaborative team with a mission to help Comcast teams and external partners to visualize, plan, and execute programs that inspire new ideas, deepen relationships, and drive our business forward. Our team organizes a variety of employee events across the entire organization and is comprised of detailed event planners and dedicated producers. We support the events that happen in our 500-person amphitheater and biggest event space on campus, the Ralph J. Roberts Forum. The events range from internal meetings for our senior leadership, big company celebrations, captivating speakers, musical performances, advanced movie screenings from Universal Pictures, and more.

Job Responsibilities 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Supporting all the needs of the Town Hall events team to ensure our clients, partners, and production team have a smooth, supported, seamless experience working with our team.  
  • Assist with ongoing event planning and logistics, including client kick-off calls, client walk-throughs, regroup calls, asset reviews, speaker prep, rehearsal, etc.  
  • Assist with wayfinding and ushering attendees to assigned or general seats.  
  • Support the ideation and development of original employee programming promotional assets, including drafting event articles, developing internal social posts, and engaging with our employees.  
  • Assist in developing proposals for immersive experiences and activations for select employee programs.  
  • Review run of show (ROS), PowerPoints, videos, and other event assets to ensure deadlines are met alongside the Engagement team.  
  • Lead client calls and event planning for at least 2 events during a co-op cycle.  
  • Support internal marketing and strategic engagement efforts.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 

Sample List of Projects:  

  • Pre-Event Support: Reviewing assets in event SharePoint folder, creating + sharing promotional posts on our Yammer and MS Teams channels, reviewing/adding to proposals for lighting and design packages, providing support on calls with graphic design partners, and managing Forum walk-throughs to ensure it is client ready.  
  • Event Support: In addition to the above, offering a general positive presence to Town Hall visitors is the goal of this position. For our hybrid programs with a virtual component, co-ops will support monitoring audience Q&A, track time for speakers, sharing questions with moderators, and helping to welcome and prep talent. 
  • Media Management: Support managing inventory of client event assets including photos, graphics, logos, PowerPoints, etc. 

Job Location Details: This Co-Op position is in-person at least 4 days a week supporting event setup, rehearsals, asset reviews, client walkthroughs, and day-of event logistics and execution. A standard week will be in-person Monday – Thursday and remote/hybrid on Friday. Some weeks may require in-person support beyond 4 days due to event needs and certain recurring meetings. We will communicate these expectations on an ongoing basis to remain fully communicative, flexible, and transparent with our Co-Ops roles, responsibilities, and expectations. 

 

Preferred Skills 

  • Professionalism, respect, and hospitality welcome speakers, employees, members of leadership, and guests to the space. 
  • Strong understanding of MS Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Teams. 
  • Familiarity or willingness to learn our other platforms: Canva, Adobe Suite, Airtable, and Social Tables. 
  • Excellent attention to detail, anticipation of needs, follow-up, and follow-through. 
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with professionalism and discretion.  
  • Excellent organizational & time management skills with the ability to stay one step ahead.

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements 

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track. 
  • Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting September 22, 2026, through March 26, 2027. 
  • Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs 
  • Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting

Compensation

Base Pay: $23.00
