About the Role

We are looking for a Working Student Warranty (f/m/d) to support our team in Ratingen - join our team now!


As a Working Student Warranty (f/m/d), you will support the Warranty Team with all matters relating to customer complaints and claims management.

 

Your Scope: 

  • You will handle the entry, processing, and seamless documentation of warranty claims from our customers and subsidiaries.
  • Independent correspondence with suppliers regarding technical details and complaints - ensuring that processing deadlines are met - will also be part of your job. 
  • You will maintain complaint records in the "Babtec" software, manage parts shipping to suppliers, and monitor the status of ongoing shipments.
  • Part of your role will involve checking supplier credit notes for accuracy and reconciling reimbursed costs.
  • You will provide hands-on support for the professional packaging and shipping of components within the scope of warranty cases.

 

What you bring to the table: 

  • You are a registered student in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable technical degree program.
  • You have a solid general understanding of the Automotive Aftermarket (IAM) and basic knowledge of automotive technology.
  • A confident command of MS Office (especially Excel) and experience working with databases is second nature to you.
  • Ideally, you have gained initial experience with industry solutions such as TecDoc or similar systems.
  • You are a confident communicator in German and possess strong English skills (<C1 level), particularly in a technical context.
  • You work in a structured and conscientious manner, which is essential for documentation and data reconciliation in systems like Babtec.
