FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt Job Status: Full Time, M-F, 8am-5pm
POSITION SUMMARY
The Intern’s primary function is to develop a baseline understanding of the business and department functionality and processes while aiding in projects and daily tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Job shadow applicable departments within the company to gain a cross functional knowledge of how the company operates and succeeds.
• Complete department and company projects as assigned by manager.
• Assist with and perform daily routine functions within assigned department.
• Prepare and present an end of internship overview to provide a summary of what was learned and accomplished throughout the summer.
• Complete one week of Machine Operator training and assist in production as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED: One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical environment requires the employee to work in a manufacturing and office environment. The employee must have the ability to wear personal protective equipment. Occasional travel may be required.
