The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Intern to join our team for the summer. This internship offers hands-on experience in data analytics, visualization, and reporting using industry-leading tools. You’ll work on real-world projects that drive business insights and collaborate with experienced BI professionals in a dynamic environment.

This internship is 10 weeks starting June 1st going until August 7th and will be fully remote.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.

  • Write and optimize queries in Databricks SQL to extract and transform data.

  • Assist in data modeling and preparation for analytics and visualization.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver actionable insights.

  • Participate in team meetings, knowledge-sharing sessions, and training activities throughout the program.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Expected graduation: May/June/Dec 2026-2028.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Interest in data visualization, reporting, and modern BI tools.

  • Eager to learn and take feedback from mentors who want to help you grow and prepare for the workforce.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Power BI and basic data visualization principles.

  • Understanding of SQL and basic SQL functions like Select, Aggregate Functions & joins.

  • Understanding of relational concepts like Tables/Rows/Columns/ Primary Key & Foreign Jey.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.

  • Demonstrated curiosity, innovation, and a passion for learning

  • This position pays $25/hr.
