Internship: Adjudication x11, Direct Claims x2, Finalization x3

The Road Accident Fund’s mission is to provide timely and equitable assistance to those affected by motor vehicle accidents through the provision of appropriate social benefits to ensure financial relief and recovery for qualifying individuals.

Purpose of the Internship: The Road Accident Fund is committed to youth skills development, providing graduates with an opportunity to gain work-based experience. Applications are invited for the Claims Adjudication Internship from unemployed graduates between the ages of 18 and 25. The Internship program will run for a period of Eighteen (18) months. Verification process will be undertaken to verify whether you have previous work anywhere within the Republic of South Africa.

Work based exposure may include the following: 

•    Administrative functions 
•    Exposure to RAF Legal principles and guidelines
•    RAF Act
•    Assessment of merits
•    Assessment of quantum
•    Drafting of memorandums, obtaining mandates.
•    Loading of offers
•    Negotiating settlements 
•    Legal costs

Qualifications and other Requirements

•    Certified copy of Grade 12 / Matric certificate
•    Bachelor’s Degree (LLB)
•    Certified copy of your ID
•    Certified copy of Academic transcript 
•    Your CV and motivational letter

Remuneration 

The interns will be awarded a monthly stipend.

5.    The applicant must not have previously served as intern before.
6.    Should it be found that the applicant previously served as an intern and did not disclose that info and it is discovered later, the applicant will be disqualified.
7.    Please note that the prospective employees will be subjected to security vetting.
