Position summary:
This internship provides administrative and operational support to the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) team by assisting in the implementation, monitoring and reporting of HSE initiatives. The role offers practical exposure to corporate HSE systems and contributes directly to continuous improvement and compliance efforts. You’ll develop valuable skills in risk assessment, incident reporting, and regulatory compliance while actively supporting workplace safety programmes.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting safety document reviews by organising, updating and tracking open items, such as inspection findings, incident follow-ups and risk assessments

  • Maintaining up-to-date HSE documentation, including inspection logs, training records, permits and audits in both digital and physical formats

  • Assisting in the execution and follow-up of ongoing HSE initiatives and campaigns (e.g., safety observations, monthly themes, well-being programmes)

  • Compiling and consolidating HSE data for internal reports, dashboards and presentations to support internal and external reporting requirements

  • Supporting internal awareness and communication efforts by helping to prepare safety alerts, posters, slides or reminders

Who we’re looking for: 

  • University students studying Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Public Health or related subjects

  • No formal certification required; however, knowledge of ISO 45001 or other HSE frameworks is an advantage

  • Excellent attention to detail and document management skills

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail and effective time management

  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while independently managing assigned tasks

  • Creative mindset with a proactive attitude toward contributing ideas for internal engagement and awareness initiatives
