  • SQL Querying: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various databases (e.g., BigQuery, PostgreSQL).
  • Data Visualization: Create compelling visual representations of complex data sets to make insights easily digestible for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Data Hygiene & Validation: Assist in cleaning and validating data sets to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all reporting.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis: Support the team with deep-dive analyses on specific business problems as they arise.
  • Automation: Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes using tools like Google Sheets or scheduled SQL scripts.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Technical Skills:
SQL: Fundamental to intermediate knowledge (joins, subqueries, aggregations).
Visualization: Hands-on experience (academic or project-based) with Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI.
Spreadsheets: Proficient in Google Sheets/Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
  • Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to "connect the dots" and translate numbers into narratives.
  • Communication: Ability to explain technical findings clearly and concisely.

Internship Requirements (OJT)

  • Academic Credit: Must be currently enrolled in a university program that requires On-the-Job Training (OJT) or an internship for graduation.
  • Documentation: Ability to provide a School Endorsement Letter and coordinate the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the company and the educational institution.
  • Commitment: Willingness to render the required number of hours (e.g., 200–600 hours) as dictated by the school curriculum.
  • Setup: The role is primarily Remote.
