QA Automation Internship (part-time & hybrid)

If your application is shortlisted, you’ll be invited to the final stage of our selection process: a live hackathon on June 16 – 17, from 10:00 to 17:00, in our studio. This is where you'll get to show your skills in action, and where we’ll select the final interns joining our team. You’ll be working in cross-functional teams to engineer a gaming platform from scratch. It's a real studio environment where you get to brainstorm, debate, and build side-by-side, supported by our mentors.

General Information

• Paid internship: €485 gross (approx. €297 net)
• Work Model: Hybrid (2 days office, 3 days work from home)
• Schedule: Part-time, 4 hours/day
• Internship Duration: 3 months
• Estimated Start Date: July

Role Purpose

The QA Intern will help improve testing efficiency by automating repetitive processes and leveraging AI tools. The role focuses on reducing manual effort through scripting, AI-assisted test generation, and process optimization. Interns will gain hands-on experience with modern QA practices in a real product environment.

Responsibilities

• Automate repetitive QA tasks such as regression checks and validations
• Use AI tools to design and enhance test automation solutions
• Develop, execute, and debug automated tests (UI and/or API)
• Analyze test results and identify defect patterns
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful QA automation (scripts, tools, and workflow improvements)

What You Will Learn

• Fundamentals of test automation frameworks and best practices.
• How to design and build automated tests for interactive applications.
• How to use AI assistance to generate tests, build QA tools, and optimize workflows.
• How to approach testing for user experience and gameplay scenarios.
• How to think critically, prioritize tasks, and take ownership of quality improvements.

Candidate Profile – Must Have

• Strong interest in automation and AI technologies.
• Basic programming knowledge (e.g. Python, JavaScript).
• Basic understanding of software or game testing 
• Logical and structured thinking 
• English level: B1–B2 minimum

Required Knowledge / Tools

• One programming language (e.g. Python, JavaScript)
• Basic Git / version control knowledge
• Familiarity with AI tools
