Job description
Support the execution of automotive electronics programs by contributing to project planning, progress tracking, data-driven analysis, and cross-functional coordination.
The role focuses on enabling efficient project execution and decision-making through structured reporting, risk visibility, and alignment across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Tracking
- Maintain project trackers and support alignment with scope, schedule, and deliverables
- Monitor progress vs. milestones and highlight risks, delays, and dependencies
- Ensure consistency and accuracy across project data and status
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Prepare dashboards, status summaries, and trend analyses
- Consolidate inputs into clear, actionable reporting for stakeholders
- Support preparation of materials for project and customer reviews
Data Analysis & Decision Support
- Analyze program data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and risks
- Support structured problem-solving and scenario evaluation
- Translate data into insights that support project decisions
Cross-functional Coordination
- Work with engineering, operations, quality, and program teams
- Track interdependencies and follow up on open actions
- Maintain structured action and issue tracking
Execution & Readiness Monitoring
- Support visibility of execution readiness (key activities, constraints, dependencies)
- Highlight bottlenecks impacting program delivery
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve tracking, reporting, and workflows
- Support standardization of tools and processes
Key Deliverables
- Updated project trackers and dashboards
- Structured status reports and visual summaries
- Data-driven insights and risk indicators
- Action and issue tracking logs
- Presentation materials for project reviews
Success Criteria
- Provides accurate, timely, and structured visibility of project status
- Identifies risks and inconsistencies early
- Supports data-driven decision-making
- Improves clarity and alignment across teams
- Contributes to efficient and disciplined project execution
Context
- Multi-project environment with cross-functional collaboration
- Dynamic setting requiring strong coordination, planning, and execution discipline
Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in a US accredited degree program pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline related to electronics (electrical engineering, mechatronics, or automotive engineering) or Business for the duration of the internship.
- Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Ability to work onsite and full time during the summer and part time during the academic year
- Sophomore standing or higher
- Working knowledge of Excel for basic data analysis and structured datasets
- Familiarity with PowerPoint and reporting tools to support presentations and insights
- Exposure to Power BI or similar data visualization tools (academic or hands-on experience)
- Interest in or introductory experience with AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot or automation tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
