About the Role

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated Structural Engineering Intern to support our engineering team with the design, analysis, and documentation of repairs for structural systems. This role provides hands-on experience in a professional engineering environment and exposure to real-world projects involving structural design, inspection, and construction support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist engineers with structural design calculations for steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structures.
  • Prepare and update engineering drawings and plans using CAD and/or BIM software (AutoDesk, PolyWorks, SolidWorks etc.).
  • Conduct structural analysis under the guidance of licensed engineers using engineering software and engineering fundamentals.
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and codes to support engineering tasks.
  • Help prepare technical documents, design packages, and submittals.
  • Perform other engineering-related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited program.
  • Completed coursework in structural analysis, statics, mechanics of materials, and related areas.
  • Familiarity with CAD software preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within a team environment across multiple disciplines.
