About the Role

AscensionPoint Recovery Services, LLC (“APRS”) is a Minnesota based nationally licensed collection agency specializing in decedent debt receivable management services.  APRS’ core competency is managing decedent debt recovery for credit grantors and service providers.  APRS prides itself on its unwavering commitment to provide the best possible Survivor Centricity ® solutions to its clients making APRS a leader within the decedent debt recovery industry.

 

Position summary

The Intern will be responsible for providing general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks for the client services functions and other functions as requested.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow established policies, procedures, and training guidelines.

• Receives, sorts, scans, and forwards incoming mail.

• Completes filing, indexing, and storing of physical documents.

• Process in-house letter requests.  

• Review and document daily mail correspondence received from Attorneys, Personal Representatives, county courts and family members. Advance accounts in workflow.  

• Answer in-bound main-line calls during scheduled timeframes.

• Serve as an active member of the team contributing to a positive work environment.

• Preserve confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

• Works on other assigned projects/initiatives as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Two years experience in credit, collection, or customer service work preferred.
