About the Role

About the Role:

Fitzrovia is seeking a high-performing People & Culture Intern to join our team for the Summer 2026 term (May–August). This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, HR operations, and employee experience within a fast-growing real estate development firm.

At Fitzrovia, we pride ourselves on being an entrepreneurial and innovative organization, which makes this role well suited for a candidate looking to roll up their sleeves, wear multiple hats and contribute to all aspects of real estate investment and development.

As we are a highly collaborative team, the successful candidate will be required to work in-office full-time.

This position has been created to support anticipated growth. The salary range for this position is $4,000 - $5,000 per month, based on skills and experience.

Fitzrovia uses AI-enabled tools to assist in screening and assessing applications. Final hiring decisions are made by Fitzrovia’s hiring team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the People & Culture team to support full-cycle recruitment for early-career roles, including job postings, sourcing, screening, and interview coordination 
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand business needs and support talent pipeline development 
  • Contribute to onboarding and offboarding processes, helping deliver a seamless employee experience 
  • Maintain and audit HR data to ensure accuracy and integrity across systems 
  • Assist in the development and standardization of job descriptions and HR documentation 
  • Support employee communications and People & Culture initiatives (e.g., internal updates, programs, engagement efforts) 
  • Take ownership of select HR projects and process improvements over the course of the internship 

 Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Currently enrolled in a Human Resources, Commerce, or related program at a Canadian university
  • Demonstrated interest in HR, talent, or people operations through coursework, internships, or extracurricular involvement 
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with high attention to detail 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently across all levels of the organization 
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information 
  • Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
