Records Management Assistants (2 positions)

L’Arche Hamilton is seeking two motivated and detail-oriented Records Management Assistants to support administrative systems, onboarding processes, and records digitization during the summer term.

Position Overview

These roles will support the transition to and use of a healthcare nonprofit electronic records system, as well as assist with data management and archival organization. This position supports the ongoing improvement of digital recordkeeping systems that strengthen administrative operations within our community.

This is an excellent opportunity for students or young adults interested in administration, data management, or nonprofit operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support onboarding and data entry within an electronic health record system
 • Assist with organizing and updating records
 • Support physical and digital archiving of documents
 • Help ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and consistency of records
 • Participate in special administrative projects as assigned
 • Work collaboratively with the administrative team

Position Details

• Number of positions: 2
 • Duration: 9 weeks each
 • Hours: 30 hours per week
 • Wage: $20.88 per hour
 • Start date: June 1, 2026 (staggered start dates permitted; all placements must be completed by August 29, 2026)


Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
 • Comfort with computers and willingness to learn new systems
 • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
 • Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently and as part of a team
 • Basic data entry skills and/or proficiency with Microsoft Office is an asset
 • Interest in administrative work or nonprofit environments considered an asset
