About the Role

Company Overview

The Bid Management Process Automation & Analytics Intern will support the definition and validation of an AI‑enabled knowledge- and process-automation solution. Bid Management teams currently spend significant time searching for past proposals, SLAs, pricing models, and compliance language across multiple systems. This internship will help lay the foundation for an AI‑driven, scalable solution that improves efficiency, consistency, and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • What You’ll Work On
    • Document current‑state Bid Management workflows, including:
      • Knowledge retrieval
      • Proposal reuse
      • SLA and compliance validation
    • Support AI solution definition sessions with the AI Board, IT, and Bid Management leadership
    • Track decisions, milestones, dependencies, and risks related this AI initiative
    • Assist with or validate a prototype that demonstrates:
      • Ingestion of historical bid documents
      • Search or retrieval of proposal content
    • Help prepare executive‑level summaries and recommendations

    Expected Outcomes by the End of the Internship

    • Documented Bid Management processes and identified inefficiencies
    • Defined an AI implementation approach for this AI initiative
    • Prototype validation (where feasible)
    • Final recommendation to leadership supporting AI investment decisions

Qualifications

Required for all internships

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with at least two (2) completed years of coursework (junior standing or above). 

  • Pursuing a degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field (for technical roles). Business, communications, or related fields may qualify for non-technical roles (e.g., marketing, operations).

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).

  • Legally authorized to work in the applicable jurisdiction for the full 10-week duration.

  • Able to pass a background check and drug screen appropriate for a cybersecurity firm.

Skills Required

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Basic programming or systems knowledge
  • Ability to collaborate with technical teams and business leadership
  • Nice to Have Familiarity with Microsoft tools (SharePoint, Power Platform) Interest in AI, automation, or process optimization

Pay Range

USD $14.00 - USD $14.00 /Hr.
