We are looking for an Electrical/Civil/Geomatics Engineering student to join the ATCO Survey team. Work term starts in Sept 2026 for 8 or 12-month period in Grande Prairie or Lloydminster. 

 

Who you are: 

  • Mustbe enrolled in aco-op (or internship) program at a recognized Canadian Polytechnic Institute. 

  • Enrolled in a post-secondary program related to Electrical/Civil/Geomatics Engineering, or similar. 
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

What you will do: 

  • Establishes property lines, collects topographic features, and establishes 3rd party crossing and construction/design layout for distribution, transmission, and civil teams.
  • Creates 3rd party crossing drawings and individual ownership plans to support the acquisition of land rights.
  • Creates designed-based drawings showing the collected topographic field data in relation to our existing and new facilities.

  • Revit 
  • GIS 
  • ArcMap 

 

Working Conditions: 

  • 60% Office-based, 40% Field-based.
