Position Overview

The Internship Program at MultiSource Manufacturing provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals to support real-world projects that impact production, quality, and operational performance.

This role is designed to provide exposure to advanced manufacturing processes, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives, while developing practical skills applicable to future careers in manufacturing, engineering, or operations.


Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities may vary based on department and area of focus but may include:

  • Support production, engineering, or operations teams with daily activities and project work
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, workflow optimization)
  • Participate in data collection and analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Help document and standardize work instructions, procedures, and processes
  • Collaborate on projects related to automation, equipment efficiency, or capacity planning
  • Support quality initiatives, including inspections, audits, and corrective actions
  • Assist with inventory, supply chain, or scheduling activities
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment in accordance with company policies

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
  • Strong interest in manufacturing, automation, or industrial operations
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes or engineering principles preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
