Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic interns to support our Procurement Team. This is a two-month internship designed for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in the field of Procurement Data Analytics. The Interns will be an integral part of our Procurement team, responsible for analysing procurement purchase data and developing insightful dashboards to support our strategic decision-making processes. This role involves using various data analytics tools to create and maintain dashboards, ensuring they are regularly updated with the latest data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse procurement purchase data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive strategic decisions

• Develop and maintain procurement dashboards using data analytics tools such as Qlik, PowerBI, Tableau, or similar platforms

• Create a process for periodic data refreshes to ensure dashboards reflect the most current information

• Collaborate with the Procurement team to understand data requirements, dashboard requirements and deliver actionable insights

• Assist in preparation of reports and presentations templates

• Conduct regular data validation checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity

• Support ad-hoc data analytics requests as needed

Skill Sets Expected:

• Currently enrolled in an MBA program with a focus on Operations, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Data Analytics, or a related field

• Experience with data analytics tools will be preferred

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis software

• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Prior experience in procurement or supply chain management is a plus
