About the Role

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Intern who will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and will be responsible for managing the electrical department’s inventory as well as the critical stock for CNC machines, digital lathes, drill presses, and other workshop equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize the inventory of the electrical department and the critical stock for all workshop machines 
  • Implement and maintain a Kanban system and a 5S system for the stockroom 
  • Prepare parts for “just‑in‑time” maintenance interventions 
  • Create and maintain a structured and detailed inventory of critical parts and equipment, including belts, bearings, sensors, linear guides, controllers, and other electrical components 
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure that all necessary parts are available and easily accessible

Your profile

  • College diploma (DEC) in operations management, supply chain, industrial engineering, or a related field 
  • Versatile, motivated, and organized 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
  • Strong organizational skills and a structured work methodology (5S, Kanban) 
  • Knowledge of critical electrical and mechanical workshop parts (an asset)
