About The Company
The Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) is one of Canada’s leading providers of applied research, development and demonstration (RD&D) and technology commercialization. SRC is a market-driven company that sells services and products to companies in Saskatchewan and around the world. SRC's mission is to help the people of Saskatchewan strengthen the economy with quality jobs and a secure environment. Did You Know: -We have the largest commercial diamond laboratory in the world, which De Beers identified as its external lab of choice. -We're remediating 37 abandoned uranium mine sites in Northern Saskatchewan.
About the Role

Why SRC?

With more than 400 employees, $83 million in annual revenue and nearly 80 years of RD&D experience, the Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) is Canada’s second largest research and technology organization with 1,400 clients in 16 countries around the world. We help clients from across the world solve technology problems, make improvements, seize opportunities, maintain competitiveness, increase productivity, and develop new markets.

SRC is constructing North America’s first fully integrated, commercial demonstration Rare Earth Processing Facility with hydrometallurgy, separation, and metal smelting stages. The facility is currently producing rare earth metals at commercial scale and is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2026. The facility will be the first-of-its-kind in North America and will begin to establish a rare earth element (REE) technology hub in Saskatchewan, forming an industry model for future commercial REE initiatives and supply chain development.

SRC has a goal of becoming representative of Indigenous people across all job categories. One of our strategies is engaging students by providing meaningful work experience to support their career journey.
