We’re looking for a part-time Student, Corporate Communications to join our Corporate Communications team, working part time, in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in Toronto. In this role, you’ll play a hands-on part in supporting internal communications, employee engagement, and brand storytelling across OMERS.

What you’ll do:

You’ll work closely with the Corporate Communications team and key partners across the business to support a range of initiatives, including:

Employee engagement & events

  • Support planning and execution of ERG programming

  • Contribute to enterprise events and employee experience activations (e.g., Employee Appreciation Week)

  • Provide on-the-ground event support, including logistics and coordination

Content & communications

  • Assist in developing internal communications and social content

  • Support leadership communications, including potential social media content

  • Contribute to community content, including articles and storytelling initiatives

  • Assist in the refresh of several resources and campaigns related to the Wellness Centre

  • Help maintain and update content templates

Program & team support

  • Provide support to ongoing Community program development

  • Provide support to the team that covers the Wellness Centre reception desk, as required

  • Work closely with team members to bridge coverage gaps and ensure continuity on key initiatives

What you bring

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for clear and engaging content

  • Interest in corporate communications, employee experience, or brand storytelling

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively across teams

  • Creative mindset with familiarity in tools like Canva or social media platforms (an asset)

  • Willingness to be hands-on, especially supporting in-person events

The expected salary range for this position is $44,850.00 - $56,550.00 per year, prorated based on the term of the contract.
