Internship Savoury Application Givaudan Naarden

What are we looking for? 

At Givaudan Naarden (Netherlands), we are looking for Taste & Wellbeing Application intern for the Savoury segment who will support our team full time during five/six months. Starting from September 2026 until January/February 2027.

The project we have available for you is all about Taste & Wellbeing. In this project you will be developing an application with Savoury flavours. What can you expect? After a proper introduction within the team, you will start up a product development process. A screening of different flavour key icons should be carried out and then the development can begin! After looking for the optimal recipe and doing trials, it’s time for the hands-on taste optimization where the Givaudan tools can unlock the taste, colour and texture. After testing and tasting, there’s the option to do an expert panel test/consumer liking test to see how the product is scoring. When the project is done, you have learned more about flavours, functionality of ingredients and product development!

In this exciting role you will

·Carry out and manage your own project

·Support in re-active customer projects were you can learn Food technology with different customer bases

·Support in customer projects to submit the best working flavour for the different type of applications

·Connect with colleagues of other segments and with Regional teams

Skills required (both technical- functional competencies)

·Bachelor student in Food technology or similar

·Perfect knowledge of MS Office Systems

·Creativity and enthusiasm

·Hands-on mentality!

·Likes to take on responsibility and able to drive projects themselves.

·Able to work independently

·Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English.

·Ability to present findings in a concise manner

·Easily connects with colleagues and a natural networker

·Has NO food allergens/intolerance (like gluten, soy, wheat)

What do we offer you?

Building work experience in a business to business environment.

For a fulltime internship you will receive a € 800,- gross per month compensation.  In case of no OV card, reimbursement of public transportation costs or housing allowance (€ 250,- gross) in case moving closer to Givaudan and having double housing costs. We organize transport with a personnel shuttle bus that drives from and to the NS Station Naarden-Bussum.
