We’re looking for a motivated part-time HR Intern to support our Human Resources team with day-to-day operations and people initiatives. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world HR experience across recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR administration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Learn how to work as part of the human resources team.
- Provide administrative support to the HR department as needed.
- Assist with HR projects, policy updates, employee communications, and other departmental initiatives.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
- Assist in preparing HR documents
- Assist with the recruitment process, including but not limited to screening resumes and conducting phone screens.
- Support payroll and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Other duties as they arise or assigned.
Requirements
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments efficiently.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy when handling employee records.
- Ability to follow established processes and identify inconsistencies in documentation.
- Exercise discretion and good judgment when working with confidential information.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Prior HR or office experience is a plus, but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently sit for extended periods of time
- Occasionally stand, walk, push, pull, stoop, pinch, grasp, and/or bend
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
