About The Company
Healthcare is unreasonably complex and costly. At Carrum Health, we’re applying a common sense approach to simplify the payment model and produce greater value for employers and their employees. We do so by directly connecting progressive self-insured employers to top-quality regional healthcare providers through the industry’s first comprehensive bundled payment solution. Our innovative platform reimagines how care is paid for and delivered, improving the value of health benefits for employers and their members. Carrum’s solution is a “win” for all parties, a rarity in healthcare: - Employers achieve significant cost savings and predictability without risk or hassle. - Members receive top-quality care and a concierge experience for zero out-of-pocket costs so they can focus on recovery instead of medical bills. - Providers gain streamlined administration allowing them to do what they do best – deliver expert care. About the Role

At Carrum, we live and breathe the mission of transforming the healthcare system to create an unmatched experience for patients. If you are passionate about changing healthcare and want to finally get rid of surprise bills, poor quality, and high prices, while thriving in an entrepreneurial, cutting-edge environment, we would love to connect with you.

In 2014 Carrum reinvented the Centers of Excellence (COE) category in digital health. Today, 90% of the US population lives within 50 miles of a Carrum COE and our providers rank in the top 10% nationally. Our team’s execution has been recognized by the venture community and we’ve raised more than $96M in aggregate from investors like OMERS, Tiger Global Management and Wildcat Ventures. Our impact has been externally proven in a 2021 RAND Corporation study and featured as a Harvard Business School (HBS) case study.

We’re rebuilding healthcare from the ground up and looking for interns to play a critical role in our success. We’ve experienced tremendous growth in the last few years and we’re looking to bring on interns who can embody our company mission and values and be assets to our teams!

This internship program runs for 10 weeks from June 8 to August 14, 2026 and is open to recent graduates and grand students. The internship is remote and has a stipend of $7,500.00 paid in semi-monthly installments.

The Content & Digital Operations intern will report to the Director of Content Marketing

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will...

Own the operationalization of Carrum’s messaging framework across our digital storefront. Currently, our website remains static ("frozen"), creating a gap between our market-leading care and our digital presence. You will solve this by auditing, migrating, and optimizing our content library to ensure 100% messaging fidelity. You will be critical to:

  • CMS Content Migration & Website "Unfreeze": Audit the back-catalog of blogs and case studies, migrating them into the new 2026 brand system and updated Messaging Framework.

  • Social Advocacy Library: Build a "plug-and-play" repository of LinkedIn assets for executive spokespeople to establish category authority.

  • Digital Ops Playbook: Create a standardized "How-To" hub in Confluence for CMS updates to ensure long-term operational velocity.

We’re excited about you because…

You want to gain experience in a fast-paced digital health startup, and you’re yearning for an opportunity to take your current experience and apply it to a fresh new opportunity that is poised for enormous growth. We also hope to see that you are:

  • Available from June 8, 2026 to August 14, 2026, 9-5pm.

  • Able to provide your own laptop or computer along with a stable internet connection in order to work remotely

  • A strong communicator:  you can write clearly, speak confidently, and adapt your style depending on whether you're talking to a peer or a senior stakeholder

  • Entrepreneurial and resourceful:  you don't wait for a perfect roadmap. You take initiative, figure things out, and find ways to make an impact even in ambiguous situations

  • Organized and adaptable: you can juggle multiple workstreams, meet deadlines, and reprioritize when things shift (because they will)

  • A natural collaborator:  you enjoy working across teams and functions, and you see cross-functional projects as an opportunity to learn, not a logistical hurdle

  • Enabled with a Data-Informed Mindset: You understand that content isn't just about "pretty words"; you are eager to use data from Salesforce or Marketo to ensure our digital storefront is optimized for lead capture and conversion.

Why you’ll love your summer at Carrum...

  • You'll do real work that matters. This isn't a coffee-and-shadow internship. You'll own a project with measurable outcomes that the team will actually use and you'll be able to point to your impact when the summer wraps.

  • You'll learn from people who've done it before. Our team includes experienced operators from companies like Booz & Company, Livongo, Google, and Optum. You'll get exposure to how high-performing teams think, make decisions, and build in a fast-moving environment.

  • You'll see what it looks like to change healthcare. Carrum works with top health systems — Johns Hopkins, Mayo Clinic, Stanford Health Care — and employers like Walgreens, United Airlines, and large public sector organizations. The problems we're solving are real, and so is the impact.

  • You'll be trusted to do your job. We give team members, including interns, real autonomy. You'll get support and feedback, but you won't be micromanaged. We want you to bring your own ideas and perspective to the work.

  • You'll be part of a team that has fun. We celebrate wins, make space to recharge, and genuinely enjoy working together. Whether it's virtual events, team rituals, or just a great Slack channel, you'll feel like part of the team, not a summer visitor.

  • You'll leave with more than a line on your resume. By the end of 10 weeks, you'll have built something, measured its impact, and presented your findings to stakeholders. That's a real portfolio piece, and a preview of what a career in this field can look like.
