About the Role

MAIN PURPOSE

 

Overview The Sales Intern will work closely with the Regional Sales Director to support analysis, commercial strategy, and negotiation preparation. This role is designed for someone with strong analytical, commercial, and negotiation potential who is eager to learn and contribute to the growth of Shiseido Fragrance Division (SFD) brands across the region. The intern will assist in ensuring smooth sales operations, market analysis, and coordination between distributors, marketing teams, and support departments.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support Marketing Plan Implementation
  • Assist the Director in preparing and monitoring annual marketing plans with each distributor.
  • Track distributor compliance with agreed activities.
  • Help compile reports on promotions and marketing initiatives.
  1. Market & Trend Analysis
  • Collect and analyze data on distribution networks and sales performance.
  • Benchmark competitor pricing and marketing activities.
  • Prepare insights on market potential and store-level opportunities.
  1. Commercial & Negotiation Support
  • Assist in preparing negotiation materials for sales, A&P, and local marketing activities.
  • Support the Director in reviewing contracts, promotions, and P&L scenarios.
  • Contribute to presentations for product launches and sales cycles.
  1. Operational Coordination
  • Help ensure smooth order processing, shipment tracking, and quota management.
  • Maintain updated records of orders, forecasts, and customer information.
  • Liaise with customer service and finance teams to support timely invoicing and payments.
  1. Forecasting & Pricing Assistance
  • Support the Director in analyzing customer forecasts and quota consumption.
  • Assist in preparing pricing templates and validating price updates.
  • Monitor promotion stock needs and provide recommendations for adjustments.

 

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and commercial mindset with interest in sales and marketing.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation potential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrix environment and collaborate across teams.
  • Self-starter with curiosity and drive to learn in an entrepreneurial setting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools preferred.
