Department Overview

We offer internship opportunities across multiple Wholesale Banking teams and locations. This role focuses on position within Financial Markets.

Global Securities Finance (GSF) sits within Financial Markets with trading desks in New York, London, Amsterdam, and Singapore. Our mandate spans Fixed Income Repo and Equity Financing across 40+ markets.

Duties and responsibilities

This internship offers hands‑on exposure to Securities Finance and its role within Financial Markets.

You will:

  • Run essential routines—risk checks, reporting packs, and concise market summaries.

  • Partner closely with traders to support risk management, refine trading strategies, and validate P&L.

  • Maintain and improve existing processes, potentially contributing to a broader

  • Automation or analytics project with measurable impact for the desk.

  • Build practical fluency in executing trades within mandate—efficiently, profitably, and in full compliance.

  • Strong command of Excel (VBA a plus) and proficiency in Python
