About the Role

Description

Job Description 
We are looking for 2 global packaging engineer assistant interns, one for fragrances, the other for skincare. Reporting to the packaging team, the responsibilities are as follow: 

•    Lead a transversal workstream:
o    Develop workstream action plan through:
    Supplier visits and reporting
    Packaging testing plan elaboration and follow up
    Impact assessment

•    Lead Packaging Development Project:
o    Support the development on cross-brands projects to meet our customer’s needs
o    Develop the package utilizing the technical support groups to achieve the intended design, quality, cost objectives, functionality, and manufacturability
o    Report regularly on status of development issues to the immediate supervisor

•    Support Brand Packaging Development:
o    Assist Manager in providing a complete project feasibility
o    Utilize computer technology
o    Develop preliminary outlines
o    Initiate and evaluate package test results
o    Request preliminary costs and compare to feasibility
o    Initiate artwork requests and proofread final art
o    Submit packages to Testing with the required samples and technical information
o    Establish component and color standards and insure proper distribution

Qualifications

Profile
Student from an engineering school, specializing in packaging, materials or industrial engineering, with a first 6-month experience on project development, in a large group or industry. Experience in R&D is a plus. Excellent command of English and French is a must.
