Business Management Internship

Are you interested in gaining hands‑on exposure to how a large financial services organization is governed and managed? This paid academic internship offers the opportunity to join the Business Management team within Securities Services and contribute to real topics spanning governance, reporting, coordination, and executive‑level decision support in a regulated financial market infrastructure environment.
You will work closely with experienced Business Managers and gain practical insight into how management processes, stakeholder coordination, and internal governance operate in practice. The internship is designed as a structured learning experience, combining day‑to‑day support activities with exposure to broader business management topics, helping you develop professional judgment, analytical skills, and an understanding of how complex organizations function.

What You Will Do
- Support the preparation of management meetings and management‑level materials, including agendas, action tracking, decision logs, reporting dashboards, executive summaries, and internal communications, under guidance
- Assist in maintaining governance documentation in a structured and audit‑ready manner
- Support coordination activities across Business Management, COO functions, and other Securities Services teams, including tracking inputs, dependencies, and deadlines across multiple contributors
- Support core business management processes, including organizational updates, cost center overviews, and internal routines and internal initiatives and cross‑functional projects
- Assist with process documentation, standardization efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives, including exploring the use of AI‑enabled tools to improve efficiency and ways of working
- Maintain templates, trackers, and working documents used by the Business Management team and collaborate in the preparation of analyses, summaries, and working materials to support decision‑making
What You Bring
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field, and eligible to complete an academic internship under a tripartite agreement with a university or business school
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to structure information clearly and manage multiple topics in parallel
- Good written communication skills and confidence drafting clear, concise content
- Professional, reliable, and discreet in a business environment and curious about new technologies and digital ways of working, including the practical use of AI‑enabled tools to support analysis, documentation, and process improvement
- Good MS Office skills, in particular PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Fluent in English; Spanish and/or German is an advantage
