About the Role

This is a full-time summer and part-time school year internship opportunity expected to last one year. This position will support the Environmental Finance team in organizing, reviewing, and collecting documents from the past 15 years. Work includes gaining access to current and historical documents, organizing electronic documents using CoPilot, and helping the team to review sets of documents created by work for archiving, deleting, and updating. Update work includes interviewing the team, collaborating with other teams as needed, and helping the team to create comprehensive “how to” / SOPs, including video, Port standard MS Word or PDF files, and may include policy work.  

  • Learn about the functions of the Port 
  • Learn about the operations of all aspects of the Port 
  • Participate in invoicing, LEAN process, Continuous Process Improvement, Strategy for document management and development of policy, Standard Operating Practices, and finalizing strategy and work documents.  


  • A student – You must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program or a recent graduate (< 1 year ago) of a post-secondary degree program.

  • Organized and proactive – You have a track record of successfully meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced working environment. You can balance and prioritize multiple, simultaneous projects with little supervision.
