Job Purpose

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to support our HR team within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This internship provides hands-on experience across core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, talent management processes, compliance, and administrative support.

 

The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly organized, and interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources. The intern will gain exposure to talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, HR operations, and process improvement initiatives while supporting day-to-day HR activities.

 

This role will operate in alignment with the Group’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as company policies, guidelines, international standards, IT systems, and HSE standards. The position reports to the HR Talent Director.

 

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruitment activities, including updating job postings and coordinating interviews
  • Support onboarding and orientation processes to ensure a positive new hire experience
  • Research, recommend, and support implementation of employee records management practices in compliance with records retention requirements
  • Prepare HR reports, metrics, presentations, and data summaries
  • Provide administrative support for HR programs including training, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special HR projects and process improvement initiatives
  • Perform additional duties, special projects, and responsibilities as assigned; responsibilities may evolve based on business needs and departmental priorities.

 

Qualifications Required

  • Actively enrolled in a 4-year college or university program pursuing a degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or related field
  • Fluent in English

 

Internship Term

  • May–August 2026 (minimum 3-month commitment)

 

Background and Experience

  • Sophomore or Junior standing preferred
  • Strong interest in Human Resources within an industrial or chemicals environment
  • Previous internship experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and data management tools preferred
  • Basic understanding of employment laws and workplace compliance standards preferred

 

Competencies and Skills

  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
  • Strong attention to detail with effective time management and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Notable Working Conditions

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department within the organization’s facilities
  • Must be flexible to work outside of core work schedules, as needed, within agreed-upon workload expectations to support a global employee base

Work Schedule
